The history of New Holland telescopic loaders
The initial design of New Holland loaders originated from a machine intended for haymaking. One of the engineers discovered the possibility of reconfiguring the mower’s structure to achieve upward and forward movement. This discovery led to the creation of the unique Super Boom® loader design with a vertical lift. In 1971, New Holland introduced the first telescopic loader model, the L35, to the market. The vertical lift design provided greater lifting height and improved clearance during loading. Additionally, a larger wheelbase contributed to smoother and more stable operation. New Holland was also one of the first manufacturers to prioritize operator safety by introducing rollover protection and falling object protection. Over the past five decades, the New Holland brand has continuously improved its telescopic loaders, enhancing their performance and functionality. The latest 300 series includes nine new models with varying power and lifting capacity, providing operators with excellent visibility, increased lifting height, and more intuitive operation.
