SAME was founded by Eugenio and Francesco Cassani in 1942 in Treviglio. It was a very risky venture due to the ongoing World War, which resulted in a shortage of raw materials for production. The first SAME tractor, with a power of just 10 hp, was produced in 1948. Today SAME is one of the world’s leading makers of agricultural tractors.
